Dr. Karen Erickson is a leader in integrative health care. Her passion is to inspire and guide patients in a joyful journey towards physical, emotional and spiritual well being. Dr. Erickson was a pioneer in ushering chiropractic into mainstream medicine: becoming the first chiropractor credentialed by a teaching hospital in the United States when she joined Beth Israel’s Continuum Center for Health and Healing in New York. She co-directed the first conference on Chiropractic Integration, and speaks on natural health care topics throughout the country.
Dr. Erickson is an author and public speaker. She has made many television and radio appearances, and has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times, Oprah Magazine, Prevention, and The Wall Street Journal. She is a spokesperson for the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Erickson sits on the Board of Trustees of New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Erickson is the author of textbook chapters on Chiropractic and Integrative Health Care and Pediatric Chiropractic.
In her thriving private practice in New York City, Dr. Erickson sees patients of all ages for wellness care as well as a wide range of conditions. She integrates chiropractic, cranial sacral therapy, soft tissue work, essential oils, homeopathy, nutrition and supplements, exercise, and mind-body techniques to restore and support health and vitality.
